About Me
I have been teaching at Carrollton High School since 2010. I taught 9th Grade Literature for the first 7 years of my career, then Advanced Composition and AP Language and Composition/American Lit. More recently, I've also taught World Literature.
I am a 2004 graduate of CHS, and I love being back at my alma mater! Since I began teaching, I have been involved in the BRIDGE Program, which provides homework help, tutoring, and academic enrichment after school three days a week. I also serve as Homecoming co-chair, and have been on our school's PBIS (Trojan GOLD) team in the past. Technology is a passion of mine, so I enjoy learning innovative ways to incorporate it into the classroom.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, attending concerts (especially the Avett Brothers), going to Atlanta United games, and watching or attending IndyCar races when I can (including the Indy 500, which I have been lucky enough to attend twice)!
